She said her daughter picked out the dress which makes a lot of sense. It's great to see her back at these award shows, though!

I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday, no matter what you celebrate.  For those of you, like me, who are celebrating Christmas tomorrow MERRY CHRISTMAS!!  I hope everyone gets what they want, and have a wonderful day with family and friends :D

In other news, I'm almost done with season two on my Vampire Diaries rewatch.  We have one more episode in season two before we start up season three, and then it'll be back!!  Very brief thoughts because it's late and I've had a bit of wine... Under a cut JIC

Law & Order: SVU...no Elliot Stabler means I don't watch! Other than that...nothing? LOL I hang on to my shows no matter how bad they get I still watch One Tree Hill

I tried Pan Am, but it just didn't hold my interest. I might try it again because it's on demand.

Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2012?
I've been meaning to get into Mad Men and Dexter.

Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?
Definitely Hart of Dixie. I love Rachel Bilson/Summer Roberts, but the show is just okay.

Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?
I've been thinking of giving up 90210. I'm behind on a couple episodes, and don't have much of an interest in it anymore.

Which TV show impressed you the most in 2011? Why?
The Vampire Diaries - every season just keeps getting better! I'm loving the friendship/relationship between Damon and Elena. The show in general is just amazing. I'm currently in the middle of season 2 in my re-watch. Can't wait for it to come back in a few weeks!
Homeland - I just caught up with this show, and OH MY GOD. I am suspicious of EVERYONE except Carrie. Claire Danes is amazing in the role, and I love Mandy Patinkin. I hate that SHOWTIME makes us wait a whole 9 months for such amazing shows!!!
Game of Thrones - I don't even have to write anything for this show. If you watch it you know what I'm talking about, and if you don't WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE???
Revenge - Emily VanCamp is flawless as Emily Thorn/Amanda Clarke. Such a great cast, and really gripping plot.

Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
HAHA, all of my shows? I hardly ever just stop watching shows, but maybe The Office? It's definitely gone downhill since Steve Carrell left the show, but I still love the remaining cast. Also, Ringer because um, hello? SMG obsessed!
