I've been away for the last week having a fantastic time on the sunny beaches of Florida.  Right now I'm mostly playing catch up with my F-list and DVR.  What's everyone watching right now?  I've caught up on The Killing, Game of Thrones, and Ringer working on The Borgias and still have a ton more to watch.  

Apocalypse 11 finished last Saturday over at whedonland.  It was my first time in a landcom and I had so much fun with all the challenges.  My team - Team Angel won!  And I came in 6th place on Team Angel and 10th overall.





Very excited for the next, and sadly last, Apocalypse to start next week.

My date for seasonal_spuffy is May 14th.  I already have an idea for a fic so hopefully I'll get that going which will wake up my muse.  Speaking of fic is anyone reading the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy?  I'm at the beginning of the third book Fifty Shades Freed.  The books are so hot, and I could easily see this being a Spuffy fanfic.  I'm going to do a casting for the movie so keep on the lookout for that I'd love to hear your thought on my choices!

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter break (those who are fortunate enough to have one).  It's going to be a bit hard getting back into the swing of things tomorrow...

Of course I have to give you a rec!  I've been reading so much fanfic lately - I started a new job and have a ton of time to read on my commute AND at work.

Summary: Post-Not Fade Away. Buffy seeks Spike's remains, but then finds him in the most unusal place.

Seriously loved this story!  Buffy really works hard to earn Spike's trust, but it's not frustrating.  Beautifully written and I'm sure everyone has already read it, but if you haven't GET ON IT!  Definitely worth a read or even a re-read.

This drabble is for the whedonland Love is in the Air challenge.  I wanted to contribute more for the challenge, but I just started a new job and have significantly less time for fun fandom stuff.

She’s more petite than Fred imagined, but that doesn’t take away from the power she exudes—and not just the power she wields over the two vampires about to join them.  It’s power that tells she’s not a slayer but the Slayer.

As she paces, Fred wonders who she’s more nervous to see, Angel or Spike?  Fred has her answer a moment later when they both enter the room.

Fred watches her cross the room.  The Slayer’s eyes are wide, like she can’t believe what’s right in front of her.  A strong hand reaches out, touches Spike’s solid chest, as their eyes finally connect.  Fred watches the two embrace, the Slayer the first to latch on tight, like she’s afraid to let go.

Fred looks away when the moment becomes too private and finds Wesley’s eye.  She gives him a watery smile, ever the fan of the big happy ending.

Syfy UK will air Buffy: The Greatest Episodes across two days starting on Saturday March 3rd.

The weekend special will be aired from 11am to 9pm on both Saturday and Sunday and will be presented by Anthony Head, who played Rupert Giles on the series back in the 1990′s. Buffy: The Greatest Episodes will feature the show’s top 20 episodes as voted for by the fans on syfy.co.uk.

Across the course of the weekend, Anthony Head will not only reveal the order of the top 20, he will also share his own personal anecdotes and insights on the featured episodes from his 6 years and 7 seasons playing Rupert Giles, Buffy’s ‘Watcher’, who guides and trains her.

I double checked the guide just in case, but this marathon isn't airing in the U.S.  Very jealous of you lucky UK'ers!!
